Cupping, like wine tasting, is a global process to evaluate coffee flavours, qualities, and faults. In this class, you'll explore the 'crop to cup' journey, learn how factors influence flavour, and sample various origin beans. Includes pastries, coffee, and a 125g pack to take home.
The class accommodates up to six participants and runs for 90-120 minutes, depending on group size. Held at our Merlo Training Centre in Fortitude Valley, it costs $150 per person.
Cupping in the coffee world is similar to wine tasting. It is a globally recognised, industry-wide process where coffees are critically evaluated to identify specific flavours, qualities and pick out any faults.
During Coffee Cupping experience you will learn about the ‘crop to cup’ coffee process and how various factors influence flavour.
We will cup a variety of different origin beans. The session includes light refreshments of pastries and coffee as well as a 125g take home pack of beans.
