This mild, sweet coffee is made from coffee beans delivered from the high altitudes of three countries. Coffee plants grown at higher altitudes have more intense flavours.
We only source 100% Arabica coffee beans for Arriba Arriba, starting with the best South American coffee beans for a strong base of the varietal Caturra from these three countries: Costa Rica, Colombia and Nicaragua.
Next, we introduce citrus and sweet acidity with the Cost Rica Catuai (meaning 'a vey good') varietal.
Depending on its origin, Caturra will typically produce a sweet taste and citric acidity with a light body. Combine this with Catuai's sweet acidity, and you get a mild, sweet, and fruity coffee.
