With well over 1,500 wholesale customers Australia-wide, there's never a quiet day for the Merlo Sales team. The Account Managers role is to ensure that every café, restaurant, hospital, sporting club and workplace that comes onboard with Merlo, has the best chance at success.

REUBEN AIONO
Reuben has a wide range of expertise in the coffee sector, having held positions in account management, new business development, warehouse operations, and now as our National Business Development Manager.
In an industry that is always changing, Reuben wants to keep things simple by delivering consistent coffee and excellent customer service.
Glenn has been with Merlo Coffee for over 10 years and is a motivated and highly-driven team member.
Glenn’s support for his wholesale customers is evident, as he mentors them to get most out of their business. His advice to them? Keep things simple, invest in good staff, know your product and deliver it to the best of your ability.
He has a particular interest in commercial coffee equipment and how it has developed over time, including new features that will lead the industry into the future.

LAUREN JACKSON
Lauren began her Merlo Coffee journey as a proud wholesale customer, owning 3 cafes from 2006-2014. She began her role in Sales as an Account Manager in 2015. For the past 5 years, she has been managing the Sunshine Coast territory, until recently when she began her new role as Key Account Manager.
In this role she is building
relationships and gaining business within the Merlo wholesale family, working with large customers and groups Australia wide. She also works closely with the sales team, supporting new business and procurement.
Lauren loves working within the Sales team. They're hard working, customer focussed, service driven and passionate coffee people. The team and the amazing customers make coming to work each day enjoyable.
Kayla started with Merlo in 2015 as a barista but was soon promoted to Shift Manager then Manager at the Merlo Victoria Point Retail store.
In 2020, she moved into her current position as Account
Manager.
She currently manages our Sunshine Coast wholesale customers.

Frank began his career with Merlo in the Warehouse, where he stayed for 18 months, and then moved on to join the Sales team in early 2021 as an Account Manager.
He currently manages our wholesale customers in the western territory which includes Springfield, Ipswich, the Western suburbs, and up to and including Roma.

MARIO PETKOVSKI
Mario is one of the most passionate coffee connoisseurs you will meet. He has a strong interest in the farm to cup journey, which he describes as long, filled with passion, hard work, art and science.
His experience a barista, roaster and trader of ground and green beans has developed a uniquely holistic understanding of the coffee industry.
Working in the FMCG industry for many years, he has exceptional business development skills and a passion for supporting and mentoring his wholesale customers.
Lycia joined Merlo in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience as a former wholesale customer. She previously worked as Manager at Catalina Coffee Co, where she developed a deep appreciation for Merlo's commitment to quality.
With her passion for coffee and dedication to exceptional service, Lycia quickly became an integral part of our team. Her expertise in crafting the perfect coffee, managing a busy, high volume café, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills, makes her a fantastic addition to the team.
Her commitment to continuous improvement is a valuable asset that benefits both our customers and the Merlo brand.

OUR STATE-OF-THE-ART COFFEE ROASTER
In 2021, we constructed the new Merlo state-of-the-art roaster facility.
The $3 million workhorse is located atour Eagle Farm warehouse, and is capable of more than just roasting.
It is an all encompassing solution that creates many efficiencies at all stages of the roasting process, from the storage of green beans to the finished product.
