Kwa Kiinyu is a co-operative made up of just over 100 farms in Machakos County. The combination of high altitudes, rich volcanic soils and regular rainfall makes for perfect growing conditions. The farmers hand-pick their coffee cherries to ensure they’re perfectly ripe, and bring their harvest in to be processed at the co-operative mill on the same day. This offering is well-structured and smooth, with sweet spice aromatics, cacao and brazil nut flavours, creamy body and a rich caramel finish.
