Woolloongabba Antique Centre is the iconic home of antiques in Brisbane. It has successfully brought antique shopping to a new generation thanks to its modern and progressive approach of combining an amazing mix of eclectic styles and dealers under the one roof in a clean and fun environment.

The building contains a fabulous 1950s style café where everyone likes to relax, peruse the shop as they dine, or simply watch the eclectic mix of people go by.

Sarah Jane Walsh’s passion for quirky recycling was sparked as a child growing up in her country hometown of Tamworth, NSW. But it was her time in marketing and film production that gave her the eye for good business and brands.

“I originally opened with another coffee brand, but soon after I realised that I needed a coffee partner that was going to help me realise my business goals,” Sarah Jane said.

“There are certainly other good coffee suppliers that I could have chosen. The difference with Merlo is that it’s an approachable, fun and relatable brand. You get great quality coffee that literally everyone loves the taste of, without the coffee hipster attitude. And the level of training and support that they provide, on an ongoing basis, has meant that my business continues to grow,” she said.
